About Me

Jennifer Olin-Hitt, LPCC, MFT

I began this journey - healing relationships - in 1989 as a young seminarian, earning a Masters of Divinity. For years, in my pastoral office, I met with hurting people. Together we looked for and discovered healing and wholeness. For most of my life I have followed the way of Jesus. However, the more I have gotten to know this path, the more expansive it has become: manifest in the breath of meditation, in the compassion of a kind encounter, in the dream for solidarity between cultures. In 2017, I earned a Masters of Education in the counseling field which expanded my skills to treat individuals in a wider context of mental health. A certificate from the Haden Institute prepared me specifically for the one-on-one work of Spiritual Direction. Licensure in the State of Ohio credentialed me to treat individuals and families for mental health and relationship struggles. In all of it, I help heal brokenness - in the human soul and in the relationship between souls. When I am not seeing clients I parent two young adults and am married to Michael Olin-Hitt. I continue to train and learn through Spiritual Directors International, through the American Counseling Association, and through the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
